Techanswered was founded in 2007 with the following mission as its highest priority:
To provide small business clients in the metro Atlanta area with the highest quality service in the ever-expanding field of information technology. To deliver comprehensive solutions to our clients with the utmost emphasis placed on reliability, cost effectiveness, and intuitiveness. To faithfully and honestly offer our knowledge to our clients in order to help their businesses succeed and perform at their highest potential.

Why We're In This Business
Our founder has a long history of work in the IT field. Over the years, he noticed a declining lack of professionalism and genuine knowledge in the support, consultation and design being offered by many companies. We've encountered scores of clients who have been previously "burned" by other IT support companies; unfinished designs, bug-riddled code, lackluster support and so forth. With these client concerns in mind, Techanswered was created; we've been impressing our clients ever since.
Truly, we enjoy helping Atlanta's small businesses take advantage of technology in ways they never thought possible. The increased success, productivity and effeciency we provide to our clients leaves both us and our customers smiling every time.
Who We Support
Since our introduction, Techanswered has been a constant supporter (and user) of open-source software. We believe that the only true way to develop information technology as a whole is through the free-market discussion and inclusion of ideas and talents. The days of closed-source proprietary software are fast disappearing; open source software is showing itself to be the new wave in IT.
100% of our business is run on open-source software. From accouting and operations to coding and design, it's all open-source. We use Ubuntu Linux on all of our workstations; Apache for our http server; mySQL and phpMyAdmin for our database needs; GnuCash for accounting; GIMP and Bluefish for web and graphic design; the list goes on and on.
Why? Well, if for no other reason- our entire software budget to date? $0.00. We love open source, and you should too.
